The early products from dK'tronics were not marked, just a dK on the PCB indicates the heritage. Probably the firm dK'tronics was not yet founded then. The PCB in my keyboard case is also marked K4 MII.
This keyboard in a stable plastic foam case had room enough for the ZX81 PCB and a RAM pack and maybe even the power supply. The bottom plate was a simple ply wood board, as opposed to the later similar looking keyboards for the ZX Spectrum, which were made of all plastic.
The main keys block had no extra keys, but the keyboard also had a 12-keys numeric keypad. Seemingly there were versions with all-grey keys and such with red keys on the number block.
The key markings were fitted with transparent adhessive stickers which suffered from the same problems as those of the Saga 1 Emperor keyboard for the ZX Spectrum. The stickers on my keyboard have been 'fixed' by the former owner with glue whereever they dissolved. This worked quite well, but it makes the keys now look dirty without any chance to really clean them. :-|
The keyboard was attached with two leads to the original membrane keyboard sockets but with a long cord and better plugs. The cords were long enough to use the keyboard for testing a disassembled ZX81 outside of the case.
