Because not very much ACEs were sold, they are extremely rare today. So, no wonder, i found at least 2 build-your-own projects in the web. But both base on the phantastic unselfish work of Bodo Wenzel, who re-engineered both hardware (circuit diagrams) and software (ROM source). His site keeps these files and a link to Isidro's site (see below).

One project is The Jupiter Ace hardware page. He used a 1996 version of Bodo Wenzel's circuit diagrams and made 2 GIFs from them. Don't use these GIFs, they probably still contained some errors and they are huge high resolution scans, able to kill your PC. Use Bodo Wenzel's PDF instead. This page lists the required resources and shows some images of the work and the final computer.

Isidro is the spanish gui who built his own ACE following Bodo Wenzel's instructions. His page lists the required resources and shows lots of colorful images of the ongoing work and the final computer. Unluckily it's in spanish. But the images are worth a visit!
