Add speech to your ZX81 programs using Allophone sppech set which provides unlimited vocabulary. 
Plugs directly into expansion socket on motherboard and connects to an external amplifier using auxiliar input. 
This module was oiriginally supplied as a kit by Maplin Electronics in 1983 and comes with the original construction magazine which has the circuit diagram and full parts list and which also includes an article on how to use and programme allophones using simple Peek and Poke commands in basic.
