This Spectrum interface is a digital drum machine, with 8 drum sounds. Connects into the back of the spectrum and the cable output needs to be connected into an amplifier. Drums could be programmed for replay or played in real-time.
So-called Drum Kits can be saved to and loaded from tape. 3 Drum Kits were produced in addition to the bundled tape: Afro, Electro and a Latin Kit.
